Duration: The BSc Nursing course extends over a period of 4 academic years, starting from the commencement of the nursing curriculum to the completion of the final examination. Terms and vacations will be as notified by the University periodically. The BSc Nursing program is structured into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year courses. Candidates will undergo a comprehensive course of instruction over these years.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Candidates are responsible for all expenses related to the selection interview and must arrange their own accommodation. Provisionally selected candidates will be informed about the fees payable to the institution. The selection-intimation letter must be submitted to the college office when paying the fees. Admission based on false information will be canceled, and fees will be forfeited. All communications related to the application must include the application number. The college will communicate with applicants only if a self-addressed stamped envelope is provided. The selection notification will include the commencement date of classes. Absence for the first three consecutive days without prior permission will result in forfeiture of admission and fees.
ATTENDANCE:
For the BSc Nursing program, a minimum of 80% attendance in both theory and practical/clinical sessions separately is required each academic year to appear in exams. Candidates must study full-time at the college for the entire duration of the course. Working in hospitals, nursing homes, laboratories, or taking other examinations during the course registration is not permitted. Attendance will be calculated annually.

Regular periodic assessments will be conducted throughout the BSc Nursing course. While the specific number of tests is left to the institution, at least three theory and practical tests must be held each year. The tests leading up to the university examination will follow a pattern similar to that of the university exams. The average marks from the three tests for both theory and practical will be submitted to the university.
To be eligible to appear for the university examination, a candidate must secure no less than 50% of the marks prescribed for assessment in theory and 50% in practicals for each subject or paper.
The university will conduct two examinations annually, with an interval of no less than 4 to 6 months as notified from time to time. A candidate who meets the attendance, progress, and conduct requirements set by the university will be eligible to take the BSc Nursing examination. A certificate confirming this eligibility must be provided by the Head of the Institution along with the application for the examination and the prescribed fee.
